Nursing is an exciting profession that is responsive to changes in 卫生保健. An increasing focus on health promotion and maintenance, and technological advancements in the treatment of illness, has placed new demands on 卫生保健 providers. Professional nurses are needed to provide evidence-based solutions to critical problems, improve patient safety through risk reduction, and illness and disease management at the point of care.

程序 Overview

The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program prepares professional nurses as advanced generalists to serve as leaders within the health 保健系统. The program courses are delivered fully online with clinical immersion in a 卫生保健 setting. We now offer degrees for students outside of Michigan living in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Ohio, Vermont, and Virginia.

The MSN curriculum is designed to provide students with the leadership skills essential for the integration of evidence-based practice at the patient-provider interface and coordination of the care delivery process that will improve client outcomes in a cost-effective, fiscally responsible manner. Graduates of the MSN program are eligible to take the CNL certification exam.

Application Deadline

Preferred application deadline for the Fall cohort is May 1. Applications received after that date are accepted based on space available until the final application deadline of July 15.
